VIEWFORTH Bed and Breakfast

In creating VIEWFORTH, your hosts, Terese and Keith Blanding, have brought together their years of being deeply engaged with education, child-rearing, animal husbandry, calligraphy, architecture, literature, music, theatre, cooking, gardening, traveling, community service, hosting -- with goodly amounts of the pondering about, the questioning of and the delight in the human experience.

 After three years of planning and designing, they spent two years sawing and sanding and shingling, pounding and plastering and painting, creating this haven on the Rocky Mountain Front.

The interior is uncluttered, sophisticated, subtle.

 

The Craftsman-style finds expression in the overall design as well as in the detail, with a decided touch of the eclectic.

 

Rustic, tile floors, deep mouldings and window ledges, complex textures and color palette soothing yet intriguing -- the visual pleasures many.

Original artwork, ranging from 6th century Coptic textiles to contemporary calligraphy and engravings, are part of the décor. Books abound and the piano awaits playing.
